Brouwersdam

The Delta Works are a series of constructions in the south-west of the Netherlands to protect land from the sea. Part of these Works is the Brouwersdam, a dam built between the former islands Goeree-Overflakkee and Schouwen-Duiveland. Since the Netherlands lack rocky coasts, dams and breakwaters attract many birds, offering a man-made alternative.
